Kintail is a rugged unspoilt area of the North West Highlands of Scotland. There are many things to do and see in this area and on this web site we will describe a few of the many attractions in the area.

Although Kintail is one of the country's last great wildernesses, the area is easily reached from the main centres of Scotland, it is about a four-hour drive from both Edinburgh and Glasgow. There is a regular bus service and train station in Kyle of Lochalsh. Most visitors come by car to the area.
